Your data, explained.
Version dated September 12, 2026
This policy covers the current version of the Pluug presentation website. The demos use fictional data. This website does not currently connect to your apps or send their data to an AI assistant.
Who is responsible?
Pluug is a project of PORTALAB IT FZCO, IFZA Business Park, DDP, DSO, Dubai, UAE. For questions about your data, contact privacy@pluug.app.
What the website uses
Browsing the website and switching demo examples do not require an account, a form or access to a third-party app. The examples contain no real personal data. The website has no advertising pixels or audience analytics tools.
Technical hosting by Vercel involves processing connection data, including your IP address, the requested URL, the time of the request and browser information. This data is used to deliver the website, prevent abuse and diagnose incidents. Where the GDPR applies, this processing is based on the legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure.
If you email us
Contact links open your email app. No message is sent without your action. If you send a message, we receive your email address, its contents and any information you choose to include. We use this information to handle and answer your request, based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries or on pre-contractual steps you request, depending on the subject.
Do not send passwords, access tokens or health data by email. Asking for information does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter.
Who can receive this data?
Authorised personnel at PORTALAB IT FZCO handle incoming requests. Hosting and email providers process data to deliver their technical services. No demo content is sent to WHOOP, OpenAI or Anthropic. We do not sell contact data or use it for advertising targeting.
Where is it processed, and for how long?
PORTALAB IT FZCO is established in the United Arab Emirates, and this website uses Vercel’s international infrastructure. Processing may therefore take place outside your country and, in particular, outside the European Economic Area. The hosting provider’s processing arrangements are described in the Vercel privacy policy. You can request details of the arrangements and safeguards applicable to your situation at privacy@pluug.app.
Correspondence is retained while a request is being handled and for any follow-up needed to resolve it. Additional retention may be necessary to meet an obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Technical data follows the retention periods of the hosting and security services used; this website does not copy it into an application database.
The future WHOOP connection
The first integration in development involves reading sleep, recovery, strain cycles and workout data after the WHOOP member grants permission. It is not enabled on this version of the website.
Before testing with real data begins, a dedicated notice will specify the data actually read, its purposes, legal basis, recipients, retention periods, transfers, and the procedure for disconnecting or requesting deletion. This policy will be updated. Registering an app with WHOOP does not grant permission to access its members’ data.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing and, where the conditions are met, request data portability. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it for future processing.
Email privacy@pluug.app with your request. Proportionate identity verification may be necessary. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority, including the CNIL where it has jurisdiction over your situation.
Cookies and automated decisions
This version does not set advertising or audience analytics cookies and does not use local storage to track visitors. The demo runs only in the open page. The website does not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
